What is BNI?  Firstly, it stands for BUSINESS NETWORK INTERNATIONAL. There are currently 5,576 BNI chapters around the world and in 2009, BNI members worldwide passed 6.2 million referrals, leading to business worth £1.6 billion.

In the UK and Ireland alone, there are 646 BNI chapters that in 2009 passed 659,066 referrals leading to business worth £230 million.

Being active in BNI is like having up to 40 sales people working for you, because your fellow members will be carrying your cards and referring your business to people they meet, without you having to pay them any salaries or commission.
